Like unto a lowly caterpillar
Sleeping on the wood in my cellar,
Undisturbed all fall and winter,
Spring brought change for me to enter.
No longer asleep, I'm alive and changing.
Life cycles are rearranging,
Moving to a light to find me...
Warm sunshine, bright and free.
Feeling a breeze beneath my wings,
My spirit slowly rises and sings!
Life's beauty all around me...
A new life, a new world to see.
Alone, in transition, destined by fate,
My new life and dreams await.
Each facet of life is alive and growing
With depth perceived and glowing...
Anxious for the deceased winter's change....
Spring forth with beauty, isn't it strange?
