FAIRY DAWN
Winters morning cold and crisp,
Fields and woodlands rolling mist,
Watery sunlight reflects on stream,
Rippling water clear so clean.
Silence in the near surrounds,
Peaceful blissful little sound,
Quiet whispers from the trees,
Brings me crouching on my knees.
Am I dreaming can this be?
Little voices talk to me,
It’s hard to judge but as I stair,
They seem to come from over there.
Can this be beneath the tree?
There’s fairies there they spoke to me,
You cant be real your in my head,
I must be dreaming here instead.
Have no fear they said to me,
You’re underneath the fairy tree,
How can this be you’re but a myth,
Fairies they just don’t exist.
Yes we’re real and now you see,
This is our home beneath the tree,
We’re not a myth nor fantasy,
But only few have ever seen.
But why have I yet not before,
Behold this is the fairy law,
You came to us this winters morn,
On this day it’s fairy dawn.
Only one may see us then,
You’re turn has come you’re now a friend,
No one else will ever know,
For you cant ever never show,
The place where we all live so free,
For only you can see the tree,
Only you will see us all,
Each time you walk past here at dawn.
