History: Sherry Lynn, baby girl, lived only two days. Died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Each parent held her. She had big beautiful eyes. She was buried along side her grandparents, John & Cecelia. Parents at a loss, found it difficult to understand why she was taken so soon.
Angel Eyes
I felt the warmth of Mama's embrace.
I saw the grin on Daddy's face.
I saw the lights they were so bright.
I saw Jesus on my right.
I heard Mama whisper "Sherry Lynn"
I heard Daddy say,"I love you" and then...
Jesus lifted me up with delight.
He hugged me with a blanket of light.
Grandma and Grandpa had joyful sighs,
For they could see my angel eyes.
Although my time on earth was brief,
Now, there's no fear or need for grief.
Grandpa John and Grandma Cecelia
Rejoiced and sang Hallelujah!
They sent this song just for you,
Knowing you wouldn't know what to do.
"Thank God for little children,
They bring such joy in our lives.
Thank God for little children,
Especially the ones with "Angel Eyes"
