Everywhere surprises leap to fill of joy and cheer the air
Hear and see for yourself all the crowded streets
People shouting filled of excitement and also glee
There's no really a right way to convey this feeling
Flying beads from glittering floats are caught in every way
People merrily take up with abandon to the streets
As this much awaited celebration again is underway
Time to eat,drink and of course to party and to dance
In this unforgettable yearly festival we call it Mardi Gras!
