Merciless

Screaming, Pleading
Tears fall down like rain
Begging and raging
Give her something for the pain

Holding on, letting go
Call it foolish pride
Pulling close to hideaway
She's all torn up inside

Dying and sighing
Her world is turned again
Calling him then hanging up
Paying penance for her sin

One more day, one more night
She's happy and alone
Giving in and giving up
Her faith in love is gone
