Leaving

Go with glory and good health
May God speed you love and wealth
May life finally set you free
I'm sorry now you go without me

May your dreams become your truth
May you feel the inner child of youth
May happiness bring song to your voice
And may you understand my reasons, my choice

Life can be so very complicated
We laughed, we loved, we hesitated
So now my love I have set you free
For this simply just can not be

Why build a bridge over dirty water
Or seek the shade if the shade is hotter
So many things have come along
I love you but this can't go on
