Crying Eyes

Who is the owner of these crying eyes?
Could it be that these eyes are mine?
Why now have I chosen to shed this tear?
When I have survived it all, every fear

Tender tears why do you softly flow?
What will it take to make you go?
What happened to the smile once on this face?
What made you decide to take its place?

Such a pitiful sight I see in this mirror
What happened to the beauty that was so much clearer?
I wipe you away with a trembling hand
And as my heart starts to sigh I understand

Crying eyes are all that I see
In this reflection, this vision of me
What once was brought out by his caress
Has been replaced by the words that he left
