And Nobody Knows
She held onto dreams
Of being a mother, a wife
They are dreams she held
All of her life
Yet dreams are just that
They fade away
There's nothing left
So, why should she stay
So she takes of the cap
Pours some pills in her hand
Praying that God
Will understand
She writes a letter
Slides it under a door
Saying I'm sorry everyone
I just can't take anymore
Let time bring forgiveness
And hopefully peace
Yet now my dear ones
I must go into sleep
Maybe someday
We will meet again
For now, precious ones
My time on earth must end

FORGIVE ME NOW
When I am dead forget me dear,
for I shall never know,
though o'er my cold and lifeless hands
your burning tears should flow.
I'll cancel with my living voice
the debt you'll owe the dead
- Give me the love you'd show me then,
but give it now instead.
And faults that now are hard to bear,
oblivion then shall win.
Our sins are soon forgiven us
when we no more can sin.
But any bitter thought of me-
keep it for when I'm dead;
I shall not know, I shall not care,
Forgive me now instead.
FORGIVE ME NOW
