Because you planted seeds of love
Inside of me and with your care
You watered it to grow.
Your anger is not unlike a fire,
I can't put you out unless
I say sorry.
Sorry is the water for the angered inferno.
Your happiness is not unlike a forest,
It's there and it thrives,
But I can make it disappear
With fevered words.
Your face is not unlike a bright ray of sunlight
Kissing down on my face and mom,
You damn sure are the best.
Even though clouds can come in
And fog up the sincerity of most words.
There's love.
With blistering words, there's always love.
