My Gentle Giant!As tall as he is in stature, And a gentleness to the fore, As vast as his heart so true, He is all that and more… My gentle giant is peter, With a cheeky smile on his lips, A twinkle in his eye that I see, And the sweetness of his kiss! He's shown me that trust is possible, And that in time we grow and learn, And then one day, just like that, We have the trust we yearn. He's shown me that things can repair, It just takes a little time, And we need patience in plenty, But he say's one day peace will be mine. I think spiritually we have met before, For we have a connection so strong, It's like we have known each other all our lives, And these two spirits may just belong… No matter the present or future, Of this one thing I know for sure, I will forever hold him in my heart.
