Mr. WrongwayMake God First, Not Last In our lives, we have many ups and downs, Sometimes we're riding merry-go-rounds; Just going around in circles, head spinning, All the time just loosing, but not winning; Everyone is against you, taking advantage, Stumbling blocks make you feel discourage; Arguing with the boss after you got fired, Because of your project just backfired; Getting into your car trying to drive away, Find out your tire is flat on the freeway; You get out of the car to put on the spare, Open the trunk to find the tire with no air; Look for your cell phone, see it's inside, But the door is locked with the keys beside; Anxiety attack, try to hold back the tears, Thinking what may cause even worse fears; A sudden weakness that you begin feeling, On the ground to pray as you are kneeling; Saying,“Help me, Lord. My life ran amuck!” You look in amazement seeing a towtruck. Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2004 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
