Poems of Lighthouse Bob

All God's Angels (Christmas Sonnet) #179

Ascending your perch among stars and moon

To dance with a charismatic splendor,

You spin in whimsy a musical tune

Of childrens imaginations rendered.

In colorful wrap, each present glitters

Bright festive beneath your tree so adorned...

Amazed, wide eyes awake nervous jitters

About gifts being opened-- Christ reborn!

Your grandeur brightens the heavenly skies

By silvery halo and wings of gold

Looked at through faith with an angelic guise

To receive from prayer what dreams may behold.

On Christmas day, may all God's angels find

Peace on the Earth and good will toward mankind.
