To My Life - who is my inspiration

LET ME GROW UP
it's all i ask
hurting or betraying you
is not my task

YOU TAUGHT ME WELL
now let me be
watch my work blossom
you've instilled in me

I'M GOING TO DO IT
i'm going to grow
i may have to take a step back
not for long, i want you to know

YOU'VE HELP PUT THE MUSIC IN ME
i have to find my own beat
when i put all this together
i will stand on my own two feet

MY ARMS I WILL WRAP AROUND YOU
in my heart you will always be
no! i will never forget you
you are a very special part of me.
