Poems of Lighthouse Bob

A River's Journey #182

As raging water cascades jagged rocks,
Nothing stops her perpetual motion...
As she lapping wiggles past fishing docks,
Current stops to admire the commotion...

As her lakes become human melting pots,
Vessels drift by into foggy white haze...
As fishermen wager for their choice spots,
Fishing lines tangle into murky grays...

As wayward river travels onward free,
Nature salutes her with a sunset smile...
As she surges restless unto the sea,
She knows God guided her all the while.
