Hope or Despair

Jeremiah 17:7

Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
Whose hope in the Lord will be a reward;
In order to have hope, you need the trust,
For having one with the other is a must;
For without the hope you have despair,
This can cause your wisdom to impair;
We all need hope if we want tomorrow,
Or your life will be filled with sorrow;
When you are into a hopeless state,
There is nothing here to appreciate;
Then how do you expect to be bless,
When no longer have righteousness;
Then you find yourself so paranoid,
Everything makes you feel annoyed;
So severe you find being depressed,
Nothing to motivate and not impressed;
Stop for a moment you're in bondage,
Find a friend that can help encourage;
Ask a pastor to assist you in prayer,
And rid your inner spirit of the despair.
