Key to a good family life? I think not!
I am lacerated with hurt.
Do you see me withering in pain?
Or are you choosing to block out unpleasantries?
You scandalize me with lies,
Do you care that this makes me cry?
Or are you busy getting ready to tell another falsity ?
You extravagate me to what you cannot,
Do you see me over here struggling like hell?
Or are you getting too busy lounging about?
The animosity of it all makes me crazy,
Do you see me and my upset manner?
Or are you gearing up for another night of hate?
You make the concord of this family disintegrate,
Do you see me pitying this damn family?
Or are you too involved with the joys of raising hell?
And you do raise hell.
You raised it better than you raised me.
