She Thought She Would Never Know A Sunrise
Her world danced in shadow
Naught but a prisoner of dark
Life left her breathless
And it tainted her heart
She searched for the morning
Through cries in the night
She begged to know sunrise
Just to set her soul right
She crawled in her nightmares
Scars left without sleep
But the night held her captive
And her mind it did keep
But there came a time
While she tossed in her rest
That love came invading
The emptiness in her chest
She couldn't believe it
It took her so by surprise
It led her to the light....
The girl who didn't know sunrise
