And There He Was…I had a little fall one day, And hit the floor on my knees, And there he was, just like that, He floated into my life on a breeze! He showed great concern, For he has a heart so true, And I can honestly say if he's needed, There is nothing he won't do! He helps out all the time, And his heart is vast as the sea, His name is Peter, and I have to say, He's cuddled into the heart of me! He's the kind of person everyone loves, And his goodness shines so bright, And if anyone has a fear or worry, He makes their burden light. For he is as strong in stature, As he is within his heart so true…! He has the patience of a saint, And his strength will pull you through. And as you cuddle me closely, I fit in your arms so soft and snug… All cocooned and all content, Just like a bug in a rug! You have given me so much support, And made me feel less afraid, And when I was feeling sad and lost, Your strength and caring for me stayed! So I just want to let you know, That Pete, you are a star so true, And no matter what, no matter where, There's a place in this heart for you.
