Sometimes I wonder where in life I went wrong?
This time is going by so fast...
Yet it seems so slow.
I live in tomorrows and dwell in the past.
While here they say;One day at a time.
The more I learn about this disease
they call "addiction"...
The more ignorant I get,
Because once I thought I had it;
Boy...did I slip!
So all I can do is the next right thing,
I have a feeling you know what I mean.
Someone...saw something in us,that
we couldn't see in ourselves.
So give yourself a break,
Because we're here to get well.
We've been given a second chance...
So hold on tight;
This recovery is gonna be one heck
of a fight!
Don't put off living until you walk
out that gate,
This is the beginning of something
much more great!!!
