Stones (Song) #195

Walking in the garden where dead people lay
With their lost memories and bones--
After all the glory of their lives pass away,
All that remains is stone...

Somewhere in the garden Mary came to pray
For she was feeling alone--
Someone in the night had taken Him away,
All that remains is stone...

He has now risen from the death and grave
High and lifted up upon His throne--
There is no body that remains in that place,
All that remains is stone...

Stones they have no feelings,
Stones they have no cares,
Stones they live forever,
Stones they know no years,
Stones they can't help you,
Stones can't dry your tears
When you are feeling alone...
All that remains is stone.
