When I Lost My Mother; My World Did End!
I Was Left All Alone Without Any Friends!
No One To Comfort Me; Nor Even Say Hi!
I Had To Sell Blood To Even Survive!
My Sister Despised Me; She Took All I Had.
I Got In My Car With Only My Dogs;
Then Off To My Brother's In Utah I Drove!
Things Were Not Well There; His Home Too Was Gone!
We Found Ourselves Living In Cars With The Dogs!
The Missions For Food; While We Looked Hard For Jobs!
It Took Us A Year To Get Out Of Our Cars!
So Much Of That Time Was Spent In Despair!
We Had Nothing To Eat; No Clothes To Wear!
We Pulled Up Our Boot Straps; Then Dug Ourselves Out!
Now We're So Much Stronger For Doing Without!
Sometimes You Must Hit Bottom To Learn You're Alright.
So Life Teaches Lessons To Make Us all Strong!
You Had Better Start Listening Before Things Go Wrong!
