LOVE'S DEATH
how do you go on,
when it feels so strong.
when from this nightmare,
there is only this fear.
that your eyes will glow no more,
or your smile won't shine like before.
that with love's death,
went your heart's breath.
now, to you it does seem,
just the burial of love's dream,
how do you come back,
along that torn-up track.
just pick yourself up,
for of that strong stuff,
you are made of,
find a new love.
one that to you gives,
your reason to live.
a new dream to come true,
as real love comes to you.
