When Evening's Cry!

Copyright @ 2004 Brian D Roberts, Pen Name Is; Lark Douglas

Teardrops From The Darkening Sky!
Oh Why Has The Night Begun To Cry?
Weeping Bitterly As The Sun Subsides!
Trying Desperately To Dry Its Eyes!
Reaching High Into The Sky;
Seeking Solace From The Stars!
Descending Gently To The Earth!
Making Life From Sadness Calling!
Torrents of Rivers, and Oceans Strong!
Billions Of Tears To Earth Have Fallen!
When Dawn Breaks Upon The Scene;
The Tearing Sky At Last Subsides!
For It Was Sunlight All Along;
That Heavens Brought Forth The Teardrops Strong!
Do Not Fear The Evening's Sorrow;
For It Merely Misses It's Love Tomorrow.
The Setting Of The Sun!
