The Church and YouThe purpose of the church is for believers, To strengthen their faith against deceivers; Organizing their Christian efforts for good, Provide fellowship and worship that would; But, churches are formed by human beings, Flawed individuals with material belongings; No matter how we strive in God to reflect, It just seems impossible to get it perfect; When we try to complain about our church, Not always seeming God-like as we search; We must look to ourselves to see the root, Look in the mirror for who you dispute; Many times we love to point our fingers, At those we know who are lions and tigers; Never thinking that they may be right, When all we wanted was to pick a fight; Good Christians from both far and near, Examine upon yourself before your peer; Think not on how make it in your view, Consider instead what Christ would do.
