My Little Girl
~designed by pj~
My little girl will be a mom before too long,
Can't say I feel like dancing or singing a song.
So many unwanted ones in the world today,
You can't be sure they're safe...even if you give
them away.
They make such messes once they can get around,
Finding one that doesn't is rarely ever found.
Then there's more money...more mouths to feed,
Checkups,shots...so many things they need.
Problem...as mean as I sound, I'll get attached too quick,
When the time comes to part...I know I'll feel sick.
The Daddy lives here too...so we know who the father is,
My beloved Buster...we know the babies are his.
What will they look like... I'm wondering about that too?
Rotties and chow mixed...I'm sure there's quite a few.
Not from Sassy and Buster though...guess we'll have to wait
and see,
As long as they are happy and healthy...it will be enough for
me.
