A Hurting Heart For Ann

My heart is breaking for my friend
I don't know what to say
I beg you, Lord, heed these words
That I'm about to  pray.

Please take away the searing pain
Miracles we need from you.
Restore her health and give her back
The life that she once knew.

The agony she is feeling is hard for her to bear.
I know you see the pain she feels
I know you really care.

Please, Jesus, lay your hand on Ann
There is nothing you can't do.
Please give her healing, give her rest
Dear God, I'm begging you!

There is so much we do not know
It's hard to understand.
And yet I know I can trust
The touch of your healing hand.

You are a great and mighty God!
All praise I give to you.
You gave your life upon the cross
And made our life brand new'.

And with your stripes we are healed
So please help Ann this day.
I believe that you will do it Lord.
You hear me when I pray.
