The Mistress

The universal dream sought everyday…
          by the hard working man.
Laughter, shouting, screaming, while at play…
the children of the hard working man.
Clean home, balanced checkbook, great sex, dinner everyday…
the wife of the hard working man.
Dreams lost, play and laughter stopped, bank account closed dinner no longer, all gone away...
the mistress of the hard working man.
