Pond Song

Such a lulling song I hear
As I stroll upon the embankment near
An orchestra of winds and wood
A song heard once in childhood

Tempestuous wind, a heavenly conductor
Calling for tempo in lightning and thunder
Cat O' Nine tail and Hollow Reed...
Dip and sway to proclaim their beat

Tender bleeting upon the pond
A mating call of lone bullfrog
Cascade of rain does escalate
And as it stops we find refrain

Oh what beauty is natures melody
Dancing upon my ears for me
Dragonfly wings to linger on
As we hear the finale of the pond song
