I'm Still Alone

If you put me in a room
With no light at all-
All it takes is just one step
For me to trip and f a l l.

That is how this feels to me.
Can you even understand?
Waving my arms, simply waiting
For something to graze my hand.

I feel nothing and see nothing.
So I make it up on my own.
I can pretend that you're here with me.
But turn on the light. I'm still alone.
