Ren's Pen

Tomorrow I Will Rise

One day you will throw me into your prison,
For believing in the one who has Risen,
Laughing and mocking all the way,
Persecuting me because I bow and pray.

I will still wait for Him to come,
"Your a fool," says some,
"Believing in the One you can not see,"
He will come and set my shackles free.

His is my knight and shining armor,
He is not just a charmer,
He will come upon a white horse,
And rescue me by His voice.

He will draw His mighty sword,
For He is my King and my Lord,
He will smite all my enemies,
His blood paid all my unpaid deeds.

Oh, Yes! When He comes I will rise,
And be caught up in the sky,
I will look into precious His Face,
He will come and plead my case.

Today I lay my head on the chopping block,
Why others stare and some mock,
Today my fleshly body will die,
Praise the Lord for tomorrow I will rise.
