Ren's Pen
Where Would You Be?
I could have come as the richest of king,
Living in palace and not doing anything,
I could of come with ten thousand by my side,
And maybe laughed instead of cried.
I could of been carried instead of rode,
Someone else to carry the load,
I could of come with power,
Instead of dying out like a flower.
I could of ate with Pharisees and Priests,
And never gave a thought about the least,
I could of had the finest of things,
On all my fingers wearing gold rings,
I could of been popular all around,
And been loved by everyone in town.
I made a choice to been born,
And came to the earth in human form,
Even with all the sorrow and pain,
Still I allowed the darkness to reign.
If I had done all the above?
How would you even know My love?
I wanted you to be forever with Me,
If I had done this where would you be?
