ALWAYS THERE
As I walk you walk with me,
Whilst I talk you listen,
If I cry you wipe my eyes,
When I fall you pick me up again.
When I dream you guide me,
If I’m hurt you bear my pain,
As I stray you redirect me,
Whilst I’m drifting you are whispering.
On this morning as I wake you are here,
You fill the air with your presents,
I cannot see nor feel or hear you,
But you are you my reason my life.
I do not praise you nor visit you,
Religion is not my way through,
My belief in you is dismal too,
But for you my lord I’ll die this day.
