The Love of Christ

Ephesians 5:2

Live and walk in love now through eternity,
As Jesus Christ has loved us in solidarity;
Giving himself to us offered as a sacrifice,
To God of fragrant savior that exemplifies;
Anger and hostility are very destructive,
Likewise degrading and being obstructive;
To the Christian this could bring distress,
For someone who God surely has bless;
Having freedom of choice how to react,
With keeping the emotions fully intact;
We are a new people and new creation,
That shows our love and appreciation;
We're able to overcome any negativity,
Which could really turn into a calamity;
The solution is by walking in the stride,
With our Lord Jesus Christ by your side;
For with Christ we are calm and cool,
We are never to become anyone's fool;
Anger is transient but lastingly degrades,
Walking in Christ's love never fades.
