I Could See Inside His Soul...I could see inside his soul... And therein lay a look of love, He made my heart feel whole. His eyes are the pools of Heaven, They are as deep as the ocean is blue, Full of trust and truth is he… His goodness shines on through! When he holds me in his arms so tight, He soothes away my fear… At my side, for I can't run or hide… So he holds me so very near. He plants the top of my head with kisses, And gives me a feeling of warmth inside, So much so do I trust this man! For his heart is open wide. He's like an open book… His soul on show for the world to see, And when I look into those eyes, He is all I want him to be. His humor is infectious, He has me smiling all the time… And every time I have a ‘glitch.' He's there with his support so strong and fine! I want to tell him how much I care, But the words won't leave my lips, And as we sit and chat and watch T.V. I am snuggled up and caressed by his finger tips.
