 HOME OF THE FLOWING PEN

Freedom Dawns


It's just around the corner
Yes, it's just around the bend
A new day now is dawning
When supression meets its end

A tender heart once kept in binds
Is going to turn around and leave
Pointing to its crucifiers
And saying that's all you'll ever be

It's like a mighty hammer
Is coming crashing down
Breaking a once solid foundation
Crushing it as it hits the ground

A heart and freedom will be one
Never again left to circumstance
Mocking all on their way out
Thanking God for another chance
