~~~ Golgotha's Hill ~~~
Three crosses placed upon a hill,
Ready for the crucifixion,
Crowds wait to behold the torture,
They voice their own vindication.
Closest friends soon disappear,
Denying the knowledge of the Man,
Strangers condemn without cause,
Yet it was all in God's foretold plan.
God's only begotten Son hung there,
Amongst sinful thieves on Golgotha's Hill,
Suffered scourging by the hands of man,
My Lord forgave then, He forgives us still.
Blessed Savior, I pray to you,
Take all of my sins away,
Cleanse my heart of impurities,
Let me be Your child today.
