Walking In New York...An Antholothy of Poems
I would just like to let the reader know that the
next few poems are from a collection that I've
titled 'Walking in New York'.
They mainly centre about life on the streets
of that great metropolis, about the down and outs
that we, never think about when snug in our cozey beds
at night.
These people may turn to that glistening cross lit up
on high for some salvation...there's nothing but a locked door,
for this is Harlem, the Bronx, places where anything of
value even Gods house is locked at night to stop the
maurading gangs of the night...
Reader, read and enjoy, leave your comments please.
