MOVING ON
Here in the corner I sit alone,
Pondering over times gone bye,
Remembering places I’ve been,
Sometimes I ask myself why.
Why did you leave me alone that day?
As you closed the door to my world,
Where would I be if you had stayed?
Would I have been happy as well?
I think to myself what a funny thing,
This journey we take through life,
Wheel of fortune spins on round,
As it goes it spins fates hand.
What’s meant to be is meant to be,
The clocks they cant turn back,
We have to take what fate dills out,
The cards already stacked.
So if you have a time that’s hard,
It’s just that time for you,
Remember though your not alone,
It’s what we all go through.
Just when you think you cant go on,
Then something starts to change,
The wheel of fortune dills the hand,
You’re in the game again.
