Ice Princess

There she stands before you, frozen and cold
Brought to life by your hands, your mold
How exquisite this beauty, a chilly perfection
You brought forth her steadfast resurrection

How carefully your words carved her heart
Empty and hollow, her most intriguing part
Crafted cleverly so it wouldn't melt
Not even by the warmth she long ago felt

Her eyes are black, like nights deepest recesses
To see what she's feeling, take thousands of guesses
And the best thing you gave her was her tainted soul
For without that she wouldn't be whole

Don't feel pity for the little ice princess
For the more you mourn, she only feels less
Don't fret or cry or be devastated
Just know that she is something you created
