Prisoner
Held a prisoner, trapped in her mind
Bound to the shreds of her sanity
Words that echo become her walls
She wants to break out but there's no key
She fights until her hands are bleeding
She'll only lose if she stops playing the game
But the walls within absorb her screaming
And she feels herself slowly going insane
Crying, begging, for anyone that can hear
But tears are useless in this place
She knows there will be more to come
So many nightmares she still has to face
All she longs for is to be free
From all of the things that bind her here
If only she could simply break out
She'd be away from the hurt, the pain, the fear...
