SEPERATION
Underground streams of love
Tumbling falling, twisting and curling
Weaving patterns of pain in my head
Heads pressed to the ground
Searching for a day's emotion now lost
Laughing, smiling, every tiring climps

Of rain seeping through cracks
And clothes
Of love and joy
Of umbrellas
Sitting in the sun
The earth growing wetter by the minute
A moment before the sun burned through
And smiled at us
Looks heavy with emotion
Tears springing up from deep wells
Another parting
Could this be the last?
Cradling a while
Tears falling
Talking in my sleep
Playing with dreams
Most hurtful of all
Parting this last time.
