Extended Hand

It's amazing what a hand can do
When it is extended from a heart of truth
Reaching out to show the way
Know mine is waiting for you every day

So never fear if you should fall
Know my heart is yours to call
To see you through the pain and tears
A bond to grow in coming years

Never search a place to rest your head
Lay your worries upon my shoulder instead
When life bestows soft trembling frown
I will be there, this is my vow

Two hearts that beat are not alone
Know my love is yours to call your own
Gain new strengths in the face of despair
And turn to the one who will always be there
