In the Service of Love

1 John 4:15 & 16

By confessing that Jesus is the Son of God,
He truly abides in you with honor and laud;
As well as you within Him of blessedness,
To know and believe in His love within us;
For God is love abiding in every believer,
Accepting Jesus Christ as their redeemer;
The Bible filled with love cover to cover,
Every time in reading you will discover;
Even Jesus asked Peter, "Do you love me?"
Though already known He wanted to see;
For the love will fill you with compassion,
Helping those with illness or depression;
It's easy to see as the nose on your face,
Jesus and His disciples were full of grace;
Healing the sick and raising from the dead,
Feed the 5,000 with only 2 loaves of bread;
As Jesus asked the same should be of you,
Do you love the Lord as He loves you too?
Is there a throne for Him in your own heart?
Expressing of your love for Him to impart.
