My Heart Is YoursA Poem from the novel "The Essence of Poetry: Gerald's Initial Book of Poems" Written by: Gerald L. Ingraham Looking at stars of the dusk, When love turns into lust. As I hold you gently in my massive arms, I say you shall never be harmed. You have given your love And now I just can't get enough. I crave for more, It is what you know I adore. The way you touch Gives me a feeling I urge for so much. Cry your humble tears upon my shoulder. I'll be your warth if you get colder. I will grab your waist, And give you a love that shows on your face. Only time will reveal How deeply I feel. Let me whisper in your ear And assure you nothing to fear. You are not my first, But way better than my worst. My heart belongs to you And this I say is true. I'll look into your eyes. For I am not surprised. I'm lost in your heart, The way I was from the start. You are my woman and I am proud. I now say I love you aloud. Because I do And shall continue. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
