Those Big Blue EyesA Poem from the novel "The Essence of Poetry: Gerald's Initial Book of Poems" Written by: Gerald L. Ingraham Trying to forget what I've done. It's impossible, because you were wrong. Trying to ignore your beauty and style. It's hard, because I want you back now. Little did I know, I would have to go. Always would I do Things to prove that I love you. Trying to not display I'm soft. It's easy, because you tick me off. Trying to desire us together at last. It's a fantasy that will not come to past. Looking at our future lives. Looking into your hypnotic eyes, Only one way to stop me from moving on. You must figure it out or I will be gone. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
