Inner and Outer Self2 Corinthians 4:15 & 16 All things are for your sake in His grace, Being multiplied through God's embrace; Thanksgiving unto God's glory to abound, Making a joyful proclamation to resound; We faint not even though outwardly decay, While our inwardly soul renewed everyday; Our body is a shell with bone and flesh, With strands of muscles that inter-mesh; It is a slow decaying process as we grow, The older we get the more aging will show; It is the part of that gets the most abuse, As it gets bumped and shoved in its use; For as our bodies seem to deteriorate, The more slowly the parts will operate; No medical way to reverse the process, Doctors only prolong and take a guess; Through God's grace for our soul inside, That He embraces within us to abide; Knowing my thoughts and our true value, Rejuvenating our spirit making an anew.
