Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

Can I not be left alone without having to watch out for everyone?

Everything is different,
Everything is changed,
Sure things have permission to change,
But they make me feel so left behind.
Even our animal brethren
Are passing me by in the change.
Heron's and cranes,
It never use to be this way,
They never came to see me,
But that can be considered unimportant.
The sky doesn't swallow up my fear
And spit it out as rain anymore.
It just shines it down
As a ray of delicate sunlight
And I soak it up as best as I can.
It was mine in the first place.
The wind doesn't blow by me
In a rash of anger.
It just floats on by,
A calm breeze when there is no calm.
Yes, a change has occurred,
For everything has hollers out warnings;
Updates on the goodness and badness of life.
Can I not be left alone
Without having to watch out for everyone?
