Tree of FaithJeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man, who trusts in the Lord, Whose confidence is in Him and His Word; He will be like a tree planted by the creek, Sending out roots towards water for to seek; It does not fear the heat of the summer day, Its leaves will remain green, not to decay. Every person is much like the vegetation, As much a part of our earthly habitation; All of the plants, shrubs and all the trees, Providing such color to the earth with ease; Consider people as trees nourished by God, Roots keep growing as we honor and laud; Our leaves stay a beautiful shade of green, As if our faith is displayed for to be seen; At the time for harvest our fruit is mature, One bite of our faith taste sweet and pure; If our faith in God that we start to loose, Our fruit becomes bitter that we produce; Loosing confidence no longer can satisfy, We find ourselves to whither ready to die.
