You left me tonight; with the rain falling outside of my window. You left me; but not before you caressed my fantasies. I saw a tear, a tiny, silver tear in your eye as you gazed upon me. I felt you shiver when we embraced. Although I did not speak, I reveled in your touch. Your strong, warm hands cradled my flesh and my spirit. The rain is still falling. Distant voices laugh and taunt one another in playful tones. I wonder if they heard my cries of ecstasy tonight. I wonder if you know that I too had a tiny, silver tear in my eye. Your situation always leads you away from me. I long for the season of rain and thunder; but not alone. And yet, you left me tonight, with the rain falling outside of my window...
