my serenity lies along the ocean shore,
where the waves sing themselves to sleep,
across the horizon you can see the
dolphins playing,
listening to their sweet song i drift
off to another world,
though hauntly familiar to me,
this is a place i have never been,
alone i search the ocean side for
any traces of him,
like a dream you have vanished from view,

laying alone on some distant shore,
counting the waves as they come crushing
